İlhan Parlak (born January 19, 1987 in Kayseri, Turkey) is a professional football player currently playing for Ankaraspor.
Standing at 181 centimeters and weighing in at 75 kilograms, İlhan is a young Turkish striker with quick acceleration and pace. In July 2007, he was bought by Fenerbahçe from Kayserispor and signed a 5 year contract.[1] It was speculated that Real Madrid and Valencia also wanted to transfer him in 2007-08 transfer season. On June 14 Ilhan was transferred to Ankaraspor along with Özgür Çek and 4.2 milyon Euros in return for Özer Hurmacı.
In the 2006 European U19 Championships, despite Turkey disappointing their fans by losing all three of their group stage encounters, İlhan was crowned with the golden boot at the tournament scoring an amazing five goals in just three appearances.
A former teammate at youth international level, Galatasaray's sensational starlet Arda Turan, has labelled İlhan Parlak as the Turkish Samuel Eto'o[2]
He is famous for his quick goal (scored in 15 seconds) against Sivasspor at the 32nd week of the 2005-06 season. He is also the star of Turkey U21 national football team and played 35 times for country.
